How the Locals Deal With April Rain on Tenerife

I’ve already used this image on this week’s weather forecast on walkingtenerife.co.uk but although it’s not a brilliant shot I love what it says about the people of Puerto de la Cruz on Tenerife.

A little thing like a bit of rain doesn’t get in the way of these guys’ daily card game. It looks quite cosy in there, at least the little dog peeking out seems happy enough.

  1. Ha! This is quite different than the way locals deal with rain in Los Angeles (mostly, hide inside and prepare for the other signs of the Apocalypse). 🙂

    • LOL – They’re pretty philosophical about the weather here… although they do class what we would call ‘normal’ rainfall in Britain as a yellow level weather alert 🙂

  2. A true professional has his camera with him at all times Jack! What a great candid photo…..and I get the impression if it wasn´t for getting the table and cards wet, it would be a finger to the rain!
