Much more than just a tourist guide, The Real Tenerife gives you the authors’ insider view of their adopted home, including a guide to all main towns and villages; culture; hotel and restaurant recommendations and much, much more. The Real Tenerife is written with insight and passion by travel writers who have spent years treading the streets of every town and village, trekking along goat trails in the mountains and revelling at fiestas until dawn.
Reader’s review – “A wonderful antidote to all the conventional guidebooks. Full of really useful pithy comments covering places that don’t see many tourists.”
Where are Catholic churches and bus timetables
Nearly all the churches on Tenerife are Catholic churches Margaret. There is an extensive bus service and lines are all detailed on the public bus service website Titsa.com

Hi Jack, Is there any way of getting the eBook other than Amazon. When I try to download the new edition, it keeps telling me I’ve already purchased it! . . .
Thanks,
Graham
Apologies for the slow reply, we’ve been hiking in the Algarve. I’m sorry, but I don’t know of any other places where you could pick up the ebook. We just tend to leave it in the hands of Amazon. But it’s a question which has got me thinking about where else they distribute it to. If I find out more I’ll add on here.
Hi Jack – no problem, I decided to order the paper copy, which it allowed me to do 🙂
